Resurveyed; appearance unchanged. Land was aquired and dedicated in 1930, 1931, 1934, and 1936. Construction work was undertaken from 1931 to 1936. The parkway has a curvilenear drive with open park spaces, paved and earthen pedestrian paths, pedestrian and vehicular bridges, playgrounds, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and pendant lighting. The bridge abutments for a former bridge are located over Oak Creek north of Rawson Avenue. Deciduous and coniferous trees are interspursed throughout the parkway.
