The Public Natatorium was designed by architects Schnrizky and Liebert and built in 1894. [A, B]. Designed to house both public baths and an indoor swimming pool this was the city's second facility of this kind. Another map code is 308/37. "Designed to house both public baths and an indoor swimming pool, the South 4th Street natatorium was the city's second facility of this kind and is today the oldest of the five natatoria still serving Milwaukeeans."
