Fine, largely intact Neo-Classical Revival school building having a tripartite plan with projecting rectilinear pavillions placed at either end of the very large rectilinear main block. The building rests on a tall concrete foundation. A wide cut stone beltcourse encircles the building above the first floor windows and a wide cut stone entablature surmounts the facade and has a cut stone parapet above it. In the center of the principal facade of the main block is a very shallow projecting entrance pavillion which rises the full three-story height of the building. The portion of this pavillion above the first story is treated as a two-story-tall colonnade with two, two-story-tall concrete columns between antae creating a distyle in artis facade three bays wide. This shallow colonnade is surmounted by the cut stone entablature which surrounds the building. The parapet above it has a statuary group of cut stone featuring a young man and a young woman flanking a large plaque upon which is a representation of the globe flanked by torcheres. The main facade of the main block and of the end pavillions are pilastered above the first floor with each pilaster framing a two-story-tall bay in which the windows have been replaced by modern metal framed units. Large auditorium and gym wings extend the facade to the east and west respectively, with the auditorium having cut stone swags above the blind window bays. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4
