Additional Comments The church had a seating capacity of 200. The choice for the design was that it would convert easily for use as a parsonage, provided the growth of the congregation would merit that a new church be built. In 1925, members built a parsonage at 1729 Harrison Street.

The congregation would later build a new church at 1702 van Buren Street (AHI#222833).
Bibliographic References Deeds indicate that the property was sold by Ferdinand Brieske to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church on 16 March 1920. The church retained the property until 31 October 1966 when they sold the property to Paul C. & Mary Jo Spletter and it was remodeled for use as a house.
