Additional Comments	A 'site file' exists for this property under the name "Shaw Point Historic District." It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. A dock has been at this location since Frank Shaw first claimed his homestead around 1870. The dock has been rebuilt over the years, and this latest iteration dates from around 1960, with subsequent repair in the late twentieth century. It has a log frame and log piles. An ell on the west side forms a crib filled with riprap.
