It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Constructed by 1884 [A], this two story commercial vernacular styled retail building features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a brick and clapboard exterior and an asphalt shingled gable and flat roof. A parapet articulated with a simple brickwork design appears above the roofline. The building, which is in good condition, historically functioned as a boarding house in 1904, and as a store in 1928.
