Additional Comments Gable roofed two-story house with two-story open portico supported by Corinthian columns, broken pediment frontispiece, cornice returns and keystone accented window heads. Dentil trim on the projecting cornice with cornice returns in gable ends; two-story open one-bay portico with pedimented gable roof; dentil trim and Corinthian two-story columns; moulded concrete window heads with articulated keystone over six over six windows on lower story. Broken pediment frontispiece; two-story gable roofed extension on west side. Large lot with circular drive leading to house. The Elliot House is significant to the architectual history of La Crosse as a representative of late Neo-Classical Revival influenced architecture. This is a brick veneer house.
