The historically named London Hotel is architecturally significant in that it represents a type, period, or method of construction. It is historically significant in that it is associated with the development of a locality. Fred Jones was the architect and or builder of this circa 1893 hotel structure. (See Bib. Ref. A).
The London Hotel was operated by Fred R. Jones whosue house at 315 Jackmann St. (AHI #75910) was also designed by Frank Kemp.
