Additional Comments This three story Queen Anne styled building feautres a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stone foundation, a brick exterior, a stone and metal trim and a flat roof. Sandblasting and restoration efforts took place on or before 1977. In 1982, the hotel building, which is in good condition, was owned by Thomas P. Forrestal. The historically named London Hotel is architecturally significant in that it represents a type, period, or method of construction. It is historically significant in that it is associated with the development of a locality. Fred Jones was the architect and or builder of this circa 1893 hotel structure. (See Bib. Ref. A).

The London Hotel was operated by Fred R. Jones whosue house at 315 Jackmann St. (AHI #75910) was also designed by Frank Kemp.
