| Additional Comments | THIS BRICK, TWO-STORY COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE HAS A BRACKETED AND DENTIL TRIMMED CORNICE. SEGMENTAL ARCHED WINDOW HOOD MOLDS ARE CORBELED AND ACCENTED WITH KEYSTONES. THE STOREFRONT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY ALTERED FOR CONTEMPORY USE. A TWO-STORY BRICK ADDITION IS AT THE REAR. ACCORDING TO THE INTENSIVE SURVEY REPORT, THE BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED BEFORE THE YEAR 1884. (SEE BIB. REF. A). THE INVENTORY CARD FOR THIS BUILDING IS MORE SPECIFIC, NOTING THAT CONSTRUCTION TOOK PLACE IN 1882 AND A REAR ADDITION WAS ADDED IN 1920 CA. |
