Additional Comments This two story Queen Anne styled house features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a granite stone foundation, a clapboard and wood shingled exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable and hip roof. Distinguishing the open gable ends are decorative wood shingles. The windows throughout have flat arched lintels. The front porch has an open design with its flat roof supported by short Tuscan columns which rest on granite stone bases. A balustrade and a wooden paneled porch base are other architectural elements. The former residence, which is in good condition, is now used as an apartment house. A related building is a garage. Architectual/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a modest example of a plain, late Queen Anne house that has been preserved with few alterations.
