Additional Comments Attached garage. This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under criterion C as an excellent example of the ubiquitous, one and one-half story, late Queen Anne front gabled cottage with a projecting shingled gable treatment enframing the front second story windows. This little altered house is one of the best examples of Berlin's most popular and distinctive turn-of-the-century house type. This is one of at least a dozen similar houses that appear to be the work of a single designer. Little clusters of these houses occur all over the district. This is one of a row of three neighboring houses at 163,169 and 175 E. Noyes Street.
