This house is architecturally significant as a fine example of the American Foursquare style or form. It has the square plan and hipped roof of the form, but its Prairie style details, including the flared roof eaves and horizontal lines of the building give it significance that sets it off from other more simple examples of the style.
This was the home of Arthur Kremer, a furniture store owner, between 1915 and 1932.
Initial research indicates that this house is not significant historically for any association with a prominent person. Further research may uncover such information that may add to the building's significance in the future.
