This house is architecturally significant as a good example of the Tudor Revival style. The stone covering, steeply-pitched roofline, irregular plan, and window decoration are plain, but good examples of Tudor Revival details.
This was the home of DeWitt and Loxley West between 1932 and 1942. DeWitt West was an executive in the Galloway-West Company, an important manufacturer of dairy products in the twentieth century.
Initial research suggests that this house is not significant for history. Further research may indicate such significance in the future.
