Additional Comments Bissell, the builder of this house, was a lumberman. House originally cost $9,000. Dr. Milbee, one of the founders of the Marshfield Clinic, lived here at one time.

"This late Georgian Revival architecture with Regency and vernacular influences was built by lumberman Frank K. Bissell in 1914. The house was designed by architect H. H. Waterman of Chicago. Dr. H. H. Milbee, one of the six founding physicians of the Marshfield Clinic purchased the home in 1929, as well as Hans Mueller (Mrg. of J. C. Penney's) around 1939-1949 and sometime after 1955 by Dr. Joseph Ousley, a specialist of internal medicine of the Marshfield Clinic." "West Park Street, Marshfield Historic District Walking tour"
