| Additional Comments | Built for the Benson and Reilly Auto Company in 1917. By 1918, John Hanley had bought out Benson, and the firm became Hanley and Reilly. By 1926, Hanley was sole proprietor. That year, 213 E Main St was erected as an addition to this building. In 1976, the exterior was remodeled to create the Swiss chalet-like appearance for the Ryser Brothers cheese and gift shop. Building was clad with stucco in 2001. |
