Additional Comments The Fish Creek Lutheran Church is a tall, Gothic Revival structure constructed of red brick. It has a rectangular plan, steeply-pitched gable roof, and tower projecting from the center of the west elevation. The tower is topped with a spire that features a belfry covered with wood shingles. Openings are gothic-arched and filled with pictorial stained glass. The main entrance in the west elevation has been covered with a modern entry pavilion of brick. It has a gable roof, gothic-arched openings, and a modern glass and metal door entrance which was added in 1976.

The church was the center of the social and cultural life of the ethnic Norwegians of this area and is the only institution established that related to this life. Therefore, it is significant for its role in the Norwegian settlement in the town.
