Hotel Müller Menu

Foldout menu offering Swiss and French cuisine from the Hotel Müller, with two men using a pick and line to ascend a mountain on the flap, which opens to reveal the men as they attain the summit. Both drawings are signed "Francois Gos, fils Claseur(?)". The menu listing is handwritten. The interior of the menu notes (in French) that this is the only authorized menu adopted by the union of hoteliers in the Rhone Valley, and that a new series of menus will be available in the summer of 1908 from Helvetica, Grand'Rue 64, Montreux. Also included are ads for Evian table water, wines from Valais, perfume, and dessert wafers. The Hotel Müller was located in the municipality of Brig-Glis (or Brigue-Glis in French), canton of Valais, Switzerland.
