Bruen's Block
Illustration of the new museum building, also known as "Bruen's Block," on the corner of East Washington Avenue and South Pinckney Street. Named for W.D. Bruen, of Newark, NJ, who financed the building. This building housed the Wisconsin Natural History Association Museum, The Wisconsin State Journal office, and a number of commercial establishments. |
