Dane County Delegation to the Centennial Exposition
The delegation of state, county, city, university, and business officials is shown as the caravan is about to leave from the Dane County Courthouse, 207 West Main Street, to attend en masse the Madison-Dane County day celebration at the Wisconsin centennial exposition in Milwaukee. The county jail, 219 West Main Street, is also seen in the background. At the right, with his hand raised in greeting, is Governor Oscar Rennebohm. At his right is Chief Justice Marvin B. Rosenberry and the two state officials' wives. Four members of the delegation were injured in a four-car accident while they were traveling in the caravan to Milwaukee. |
