H.D. Brainard Home at Lone Rock
View of the furniture in the dining room of the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Brainard. The home was formerly the 1878 "old Don Johnson farm" in Bear Valley which the Brainard's purchased after the last member of the Johnson family died and willed the farm to the Salvation Army. The dining room separates the houses' two living rooms and is furnished with family antiques. Mrs. Brainard's china collection is exhibited in the carved oak sideboard at right. |
