The original typewritten caption reads: "Model 63 International motor truck owned by Tony Laquitana, Geneva, New York. Mr. Laquitana hauls for C.E. Rapalee who conducts a business in coke and car lots of bituminous coal. The motor truck is shown with a load of coke in bags. Mr. Rapalee has his hauling done in a rather interesting manner. He owns a Model S International which operates in Auburn, New York. (Mr. Rapalee, by the way, conducts his business both in Geneva and Auburn.) Besides these two trucks which serve him, another Model S International owned by L.E. Hilton is operated in Geneva. The two S trucks average about 55 miles a day while the Model 63 averages from 40 to 45 miles a day. All three trucks usually carry a 50 per cent overload." |
