Modern Woodmen of America Letterhead
Letterhead of the Milwaukee office of the Local Executive Committee for Head Camp Entertainment for a convention on June 20th to 24th, 1905, of the Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal benefit society founded in 1883. The letterhead has a costumed jester against a red background holding a jester's head on a stick, on the left a figure of a logger in work clothes holding an axe and standing beside a cut log, and on the right a uniformed figure of a man holding an axe. Text is printed on banner, sign, and circle fields decorated with evergreen branches and cones. A list of chairmen of committees is printed alongside the left-hand side of the page. Printed in green and red ink. |
