World War II Army veteran, served 3 years 3 months, overseas 1942 to 1945. Member of the West Allis Democratic unit, St. Jude League, American Legion. Elected to the Assembly in 1962, 1964 and 1966. Member Assembly Excise and Fees Committee; served as vice chairman of the Assembly Highways Committee and a member of the Committee on Municipalities 1965; member of Governor's Council on Traffic Law Enforcement 1965-66, reappointed 1967; secy.
