businessman, manufacturer, b. Milwaukee. He attended Milwaukee public and private schools, and the Spencerian Business College. In 1880 he joined William Gender (q.v.) in forming the firm of Gender, Paeschke and Co., manufacturers and wholesalers of tinware and house furnishings. In 1882 the firm name was changed to Gender and Paeschke Manufacturing Co., and in 1909 became Geuder, Paeschke and Frey Co. Paeschke was vice-president of the firm (1882-1903), and president from 1903 until his death. His son, CHARLES WALTER PAESCHKE, b. Milwaukee, attended the Univ. of Wisconsin and began his business career with his father's firm in 1903. He was vice-president and secretary of Gender, Paeschke and Frey Co.
