Has served as member of Coordinating Committee for Higher Education and of State Board of Vocational and Adult Education, past president machinists union, church treasurer. Served on Fond du Lac County Board 1960-64. Elected to Congress 1964. Member House Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs.
