Randall, Clifford Ellsworth 1876 - 1934
lawyer, politician, Congressman, b. Troy Center, Walworth County. He graduated from Whitewater State Normal School (1901) and the Univ. of Wisconsin (LL.B., 1906). He was admitted to the bar in 1906 and set up a law practice in Kenosha, where he held local offices, including that of Kenosha municipal judge (1909-1917). A Republican, he was elected to Congress in 1918, and served one term (Mar. 1919-Mar. 1921). Defeated in his bid for renomination in 1920, Randall returned to the practice of law in Kenosha, served as city attorney of that city, and continued to practice law there until his death. Biog. Dir.
