His given name and dates are unknown; a son-in-law of Augustin de Langlade, he married Agate de Langlade (b. 1722) before they came to Green Bay in 1745, and he died soon after; presumably before this marriage he fathered with a Menominee woman the mother of Cha-wa-non (or Cha-kau-cho-ka-ma).
