Practicing attorney; presently city attorney of New Richmond. Past pres. Pierce-St. Croix County Bar Assn., member Wis. Bar Assn., Knights of Columbus. Has served on school board. Elected to Assembly 1956; re-elected 1958 and 1960. Assistant Dem, Floor Leader. Chairman of Assembly Judiciary Committee 1959, member 1961. Vice-chm. Insurance and Banking Com. 1959.
