(Rep.), born Czechoslovakia Feb. 10, 1902. Educated in Nebraska and in Price Co. public schools. Dairy farmer since 1980; formerly farmers co-op. store mgr., electric welder, highway maintenance worker. Military training CMTC 1925 at Camp Custer, Mich. Past pres. Price Co. Guernsey Breeders Assn., legislative director Elk Worcester local Farmers Union; interested in conservation and reforestation; active in local industrial development. Was town clerk (13 years), town chairman, school district director, member county conservation and forestry committees, Elected to Assembly 1948; now in 6th term. Chairman Assembly Enrolled Bills Com.; vice- chm. Veterans and Military Affairs Com., serving 6th term on Conservation Com.; member Legis. Council Water Resources Com. Home address: Rt. 2, Phillips.
