March 2, 2018 - Media Advisory: Wisconsin Historical Society and Wisco | Wisconsin Historical Society

The Wisconsin Historical Society and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum would like to invite the media to join us on March 8, 2018, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, for a ribbon cutting and short tour of the new State Archive Preservation Facility in Madison, WI.

This new building will give both organizations much-needed space for state collections that are currently being housed around the state. The climate-controlled building will protect rare books, newspapers, photographs, films, government records and other three –dimensional artifacts that are important to the mission of the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum.

We are including a media advisory below for more information. There will be plenty of interview opportunities with representatives from the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum as well as legislators in attendance.

Please note that this is a media event and not open to the public.

If possible please let one of us know if you plan to attend or not so we can have the tours ready to go.

We look forward to seeing you on March 8!
