For Immediate Release

February 12, 2019 - Media Advisory: Share Your Voice with the Wisconsi | Wisconsin Historical Society

In the spirit of the Frozen Tundra, tonight’s Share Your Voice event at the Neville Public Museum will go on as scheduled. The Wisconsin Historical Society looks forward to sharing information about the exciting new state museum project with guests and hearing their thoughts on what makes Brown County unique.

Doors will open at 5:30 pm. The program begins at 6:00 pm. We are asking guests to use their discretion and join us only if they feel they are able to make it to the event safely.

The Wisconsin Historical Society is holding over 40 community events across the state to hear from local communities about what they would like to see in a new, modern state history museum on Wisconsin’s Capitol Square in Madison.

Following a brief presentation, guests will participate in two discussions where they will have an opportunity to share feedback on current design concepts and share their thoughts on how a state history museum can serve and represent the community. The input the Society receives at these public workshops will help shape future exhibits and storylines.

The Neville Public Museum is located at 210 Museum Pl in Green Bay. The evening will start with an introduction to the new museum project. Guests will then hear from Christian Overland, Ruth and Hartley Barker Director of the Wisconsin Historical Society and then participate in two workshops.
