“Visiting the Madeline Island Museum for our Island Boutique experience is the perfect way to shop local and support the community this holiday season,” said Keldi Merton, Madeline Island Museum site director. “Between the special items for sale from local artisans and our gift shop, this experience makes it easy to find that one-of-a-kind gift that will make a lasting impression.”

“Madeline Island Boutique” takes place in the Capser Gallery and features an array of unique items crafted by local artisans for sale. Guests can also peruse the museum gift shop and can expect to find an assortment of creative gifts perfect for friends and family. After building up an appetite, guests are invited to stay for a meal to benefit local students. A soup lunch served by the La Pointe School PTO will be available for purchase with proceeds supporting local school programming.

The museum is fully accessible and there will be benches and chairs set up for guests to relax while they are shopping and visiting with vendors. Guests who make a purchase on the island can pick up a return ferry ticket at the museum, good for that day only. For more information, visit: wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Event/EV7862.
