Revive Your Inner Child at Old World Wisconsin’s Adult Flashback Fieldtrips

After hours event packs in childhood nostalgia with pure fun just for the grownups!
EAGLE, Wis. – There’s still time to reserve your tickets for an adults-only field trip experience that might just make the kiddos jealous! With a refreshing brew in hand, guests will party like it’s 1899 this Aug. 15 and Sept. 12 when Adult Flashback Fieldtrips return to highlight the best of Old World Wisconsin at this 21+, ticketed event. Unleash your inner child as you spend an evening exploring the historic Crossroads Village, taking part in hands-on experiences along the way that will transport you back in time.
“Whether seeking a unique date night or a fun evening out with friends, our beautiful and historic setting surrounded by the Kettle Moraine Forest is a wonderful place to rekindle old memories or make new ones," said Maria Cominsky, general manager at Old World Wisconsin. "During this special evening, guests can explore our many historic buildings and farmsteads and participate in experiences usually reserved for the kids. It’s a great way to rediscover the joys of our youth.”
Guests participate in a variety of activities like riding vintage high-wheel bicycles, cooking a historic meal in the Four Mile House, discovering nostalgic goodies in the General Store, joining in 1800s-era yard games and quizzing the blacksmith hard at work at the forge. With interpreters in historic dress stationed throughout the site, guests will gain a new appreciation for the historic buildings, gardens, farms, forests and shops where childhood memories are made year after year at Old World Wisconsin.
The cost of this special evening is $65 per person and includes a personalized, packed lunch chosen from a menu of delicious options. Guests will also receive two beverages of their choice and a special activity token to redeem during exploration. Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

Wisconsin Historical Society members receive free general admission to Old World Wisconsin and a 10% discount on special events. Members are invited to pick up their complimentary Pastport at any of the Society’s 12 historic sites this season. Members earn stamps by visiting each site, working towards special discounts, fun prizes and the opportunity to earn a FREE year of membership.
