Wisconsin Coastal Management Program Grants | HP Funding | Wisconsin Historical Society

Wisconsin Coastal Management Grants (WCMP) are available for coastal wetland protection and habitat restoration, nonpoint source pollution control, coastal resource and community planning, Great Lakes education, public access and historic preservation. Two grants are available: Coastal and Estuarine Land Conservation Program Grants and Great Lakes Area of Concern Land Acquisition Grants.

Approximately $1,500,000 is available through the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program to enhance and restore coastal resources within the state's coastal zone - all counties adjacent to Lakes Superior and Michigan. WCMP grants should be used to achieve a balance between natural resource protection and coastal communities' need for sustainable economic development.
