Charles Trueworth Bradley was a manufacturer born in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He moved to Milwaukee in 1843 and began his lifetime career of manufacturing shoes.

He was one of the pioneer shoe manufacturers of Milwaukee and was president of the Bradley and Metcalf Shoe Company. He served as president of the Milwaukee National Bank for over 20 years, and was a member of the city debt commission.
