inventor, b. Philadelphia. He moved to Racine in 1863 and established the Geiser Threshing Machine Co. After this shop burned, Dingee was associated for a time with the Sawyer Manufacturing Co. of Oshkosh. In 1878 he returned to Racine and was employed by the J. I. Case Co. until his retirement in 1906. He was the inventor of the Dingee horse-power thresher, the Case agitator thresher, and various other implements which helped to develop the agricultural implement industry and to promote mechanization of the farm.
