(Dem.), born Bassett, May 26, 1913. Educated Oak Knoll elementary, Wilmot high school; graduated as licensed auctioneer from Chandler School of Auctioneering, Spencerian College, Milwaukee. Auctioneer and real estate broker; also in boat-bait-tackle and food service business; farmed 1,200 acres until 1958. Serving 6th term as town chairman and mbr. of Kenosha County Board, 10 years as school board director. Member of Farm Bureau. Elected to Assembly 1962 and 1964. Chairman Assembly Com. on Engrossed Bills; vice chair-man Elections Com.; member Veterans' and Military Affairs Com., Legislative Council Elections Com. Mailing address: Box 86, Trevor.
