industrialist, b. Milwaukee. He was the son of Louis Wahl Falk, and grandson of Franz Lorenz Falk (q.v.). He graduated from the Univ. of Wisconsin (B.S., 1906). He entered the Falk Corporation, and served as its president (1940-1957). He was a director in several other large Wisconsin corporations, including the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., the Heil Co., Wisconsin Telephone Co., and the Harnischfeger Corporation. He was a leader in the movement to train apprentices for industry through public vocational training and was president of the Milwaukee vocational school board (1934-1947) and the state board of vocational education (1930-1936).
