Fink, Albert 1867 - 1950 | Wisconsin Historical Society
violinist, music teacher, b. Milwaukee. He studied at the Royal High School of Music, Berlin, Germany, under the famous violinist, Josef Joachim (1888-1894) and returned to the U.S. to play with the Theodore Thomas Orchestra of Chicago and the N.Y. Symphony under the direction of Walter Damrosch. In 1897 he returned to Milwaukee, and in 1902 moved to Racine. He taught at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee-Downer College (1910-1922), and Marquette Univ. (1922-1923). A. E.
