Origin of Jerusalem Corners, Wisconsin
In the early days of the community, a Negro family arrived. The man was a good singer, entertained the people of Glass Valley, Cmerema and Corners communities with spirituals. Someone decided on the name "Jerusalem Corners," by which the area has since been known.
