Johnson, Alfred Stanley, jr. 1863 - 1932
photographer and creator of "tall-tales" postcards; born in Waupun, where his father was also a photographer, Johnson carried on the family business and, with his wife Myrtle, specialized during the early 20th century in imaginative, comic postcard views of Wisconsin hunting, fishing and farming life that were sold to tourists.
