born Galesville, Oct. 23, 1898. Educated in Galesville public schools; La Crosse State College one year. Graduate of Univ. of Wisconsin, Ph.G. 1922, B.S. 1923. In general insurance business 38 years; was asst. postmaster of Galesville 10 years. World War I veteran; one of Wisconsin's youngest commissioned officers. Member of American Legion; commander local post 3 years. Attended Republican National Conventions; served as alternate 1936 while his father Frank A. Kellman was delegate, served as delegate 1940 and 1944. Assemblyman from Trempealeau County in 1939. Chosen Assembly Sergeant at Arms in 1941; now serving 11th term. Home address: Galesville.
