lawyer, fudge, b. Menasha. He graduated from the Univ. of Wisconsin (LL.B., 1875), was admitted to the bar, and set up a law practice in Neenah. He was city attorney of Neenah for 12 years, opened a branch law office in Milwaukee in 1889, and was a regent of the Univ. of Wisconsin (1901-1904).
