Served on statutory corn, of Wis. Dept. of Vet. Affairs 1947. Democratic party county chm. 1957; 6th Cong. District vice-chm. 1960. Elected to Assembly 1962, 1964 and 1966. Member Assembly Highways Com. (also 1965) and Revision Com.; served on Legis. Council Highway Adv. Com. 1965-67, its U.W. Medical Center Com. 1963-65; chm.
