Golf Course Landing

A Standard plane on the golf course of the Waukesha Moor Baths Hotel surrounded by curious onlookers. This landing was representative of the problems encountered by early pilots because of the lack of proper landing fields. In this case a tree had to be cut down to oblige the pilot. |
