Full-length carte-de-visite portrait of Orrin W. Beach, Companies B and A, 34th New York Infantry. When the regiment was originally mustered in (June 1861 at Albany, New York), Orrin W. Beach held the rank of Sergeant. When they were mustered out (June 1863) he held the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
