| Additional Information: | "The Frank Dietz brick store building is another of Mazomanie's oldest and most intact commercial buildings. Its first floor storefront facade remains in its nineteenth century form, including original cast-iron frame and supporting columns, paneled doors and bulkheads, and wide transom light over the main entrance. It has been used as a jewelry store, confectionery store, barbershop, offices, real estate office, post office, and art studio. Frank Dietz, the original owner, was a saddle and harness maker. He had sold his store by 1866." Mazomanie Downtown Historic District, Mazomanie Historical Society, 1993. |
