Milwaukee Braves Baserunners

Milwaukee Braves first baseman Joe Adcock lunges for first against the Phillies. Adcock pinch hit for pitcher Juan Pizarro with one on and one out in the ninth inning and ground into a double play to end the game. The Braves lost 4-2. Braves infielder Bobby Malkmus is out at second. Ed Bouchee is playing first base for the Phillies and Granvill Hamner is playing second. An umpire between second and third base observes the action.
