TWA Schedule

A Transcontinental & Western Airline schedule, effective July 1, 1933. Charles Lindbergh began his association with commercial aviation in 1928 when Transcontinental Air Transport (TAT) hired him as a technical adviser. Taping into his public image they named their new transcontinental route in his honor. The Lindbergh association continued after TAT merged with Western Air Express to form Transcontinental and Western Air (TWA) in 1930. Although TWA did not offer direct connections to Wisconsin at the time this schedule was printed, the company did operate a reservations office in Milwaukee.
